New riding facility The Chandler velodrome at the Sleeman Sports Centre is now hosting a gymkhana dirt bike track and "introduction to dirt bike coaching" program for junior riders and senior beginner riders. Every Friday night, junior riders and senior beginners will be able to ride there dirt bikes or junior quads on a grass track with portable jumps and bumps. The track layout is designed to cater for junior riders or senior beginners enjoying riding there bikes and quads under lights. The idea is to introduce riders to the sport of motocross, improve rider skills and encourage family activities stated the spokesman from Ultimate Motocross. Coaching programs for all ages and ability are available by booking with the Ultimate motocross coaching director. Dirt bike coaching Fort Lytton motocross club, Brisbane's only motocross facility is conducting GROUP and ONE on ONE riding lessons for beginners to advanced of all ages every week, even if you don't have a bike, you can use ours. Club Instructors are nationally accredited "Trainer and Assessor" qualified with real dirt bike/motocross experience to teach you or your child the correct techniques from our specific coaching plan, riders of all ages will enjoy the exhilaration of off-road riding safely. Junior racing Reminder to parents, junior riders competing for the 1st time or going up a bike class must show there motorcycling Australia kick start accreditation on race day at sign in or complete the clubs pre event lesson the day before race day to demonstrate competency. Membership and Participation voucher The Fort Lytton Motocross club is now registered with Queensland Government’s "Get in the Game" initiative to support sport and recreation at the grass roots level. Eligible children and young people can apply for a voucher valued at $150 (GSTexclusive) to pay for the 2013 membership and one participation lesson. The Fort Lytton motocross facility is Brisbanes only motocross venue. We cater for all ages, riding levels and bikes sizes. We have professional coaching available for all ages either by one on one or in groups. No motorcycling Australia licence required. Club membership available for individuals and immediate family.
